I'm not Black; I'm not illiterate (WSU '83, Magna Cum Laude); and I don't live in a high crime area. My tag is in the center of my plate just to be contrary. I guess I don't really like the state telling me what to do with my personal vehicle if it's not something required for safety or the law...

1. If the state is "telling" you to do something, then not doing it is against the law.
2. If you don't like the state telling you what to do with your personal vehicle, then don't drive it on state-owned roads.
3. The license sticker in the corner rule is to ensure uniform compliance with vehicle registration, hardly an onerous request. The tag in the middle to thwart thieves is understandable. The half dozen stickers scattered around the plate, however, is fucktarded.

Why not just put it in the proper place and scratch through it a couple of times with an X-acto knife. Kinda hard for the thief to pull off.
