fantasy baseball

This subject needs its own thread because the people who don't participate need to be able to steer clear of it. Those of us who do participate need a place to vent, even though we have no interest in reading about anyone's team but our own.

We can only make roster moves after weeks 5, 10 and 15, so I am stuck with Joe Nathan's non-closing ass for a few more weeks. And now I am 0-2-1.
I used to be with it, but then they changed what 'it' was. Now, what I'm with isn't 'it,' and what's 'it' seems weird and scary.

How did benching CC go for you?

My Beltre/Verlander for ARod/Marcum trade is looking pretty solid thus far. Beltre is on fire. And Verlander is doing exactly what everybody expected him to do. And it is only April. If he gets better as the season progresses as he has the past few years, watch out...

Fantasy baseball benching can be a real wake up call to MLB players.
By using the El Dorado Atmospheric and Oceanic temperatures thermal map. I caculated the contrary direction where the polar jet stream is going and it didn't look pretty.

Adam Dunn has become available in my league. Is one to believe he'll heat up, or is Dunn done?

Idaknow. Will this be the first year in 10 that he doesn't hit 38+ homeruns and the 2nd in 10 that he doesn't get 100+ RBI? Kinda hard to not stash him on this bench. Personally, I'm glad we played the Sox before they beat the Yankees. This may be the spark.

I've had Kendry Morales on the bench all year waiting for his stinking ankle to heal.

Better stash him. He will heat up.

Hopefully you get him.

Dunn said he returned about five days too early from his appendectomy, ESPNChicago.com reports.

Meh, someone nabbed him off waivers.

Guy had dropped him to pick up Ike Davis.

Alex Rios... Worth a try, or is this more than just a slump?

If any of you have Liriano, you may be interested in turning on Baseball Tonight and watch what he is doing.

I do and I am, thanks to Gully cluing me in. I should get extra fantasy points if he does it, right?
