Hopefully some hitters will get reacquainted with that base next year. I mean, come on, who wouldn't want to spend time with Tommy Brookens?
I used to be with it, but then they changed what 'it' was. Now, what I'm with isn't 'it,' and what's 'it' seems weird and scary.

That'll help (a lot, I hope).

Count me as one of the charter members of the "Bring Elvis Andrus to Detroit" committee.
My hand to God, she's gonna be at Carnegie Hall. But you - I'll let you have her now at the old price, OK? Which is, which is anything you wanna give me. Anything at all.

And hopefully some Tigers hitters will not get reacquainted with this pitch

He's back ... and so is Gene Lamont.

Peralta and Dotel back, Valverde and Delmon out, predictably.

Oh for fuck's sake.

Houston needs to avoid trying to stock up on veterans. Use the example of the Rays or Nationals. Build up from the inside, and then maybe get a strong vet before the trading deadline to fill a hole and be a leader if needed.

On a side note: I am geeked over the new unis and super excited for the series here in Detroit in May. Last time they were in town I wore the rainbow jersey with a Tigers cap.

Love the new hats ... not too bowled over by the new jerseys. I was hoping they'd bring back the shooting star.

Basically the caps are throwbacks from the early 90s/late 80s with a multi-colored star. I was hoping the same, but do like the block letters and the old colors.

Not that it matters ... nobody's going to be watching Astros games after they're mathematically eliminated from playoff contention on May 1.
