And Oral Roberts took the dirt nap this morning.

Didn't we have a thread for people you thought were already dead? I think we need one for people I thought would live forever.

When NBC News did the segue that announced that a religious figure had died. I immediately said "Billy Graham", and then added, "No, can't be. He's gotta be dead already." SR informed me after a quick google search that he is alive and the same age a Oral.

I drove in a car with Billy Graham to the airport once...thump, well nevermind.

An almost prophetic joke that I once overheard one hot woman at work tell another:

Why did the sorority girl/bride grin from ear to ear as she walked down the aisle?...

(Sorry, unmarried guys)

...because she knew that she'd given her last blowjob.

Not as long as you keep visiting Detroit every so often.

Aw jeez. Oral Roberts is dead, huh?
Well, that's a shame. I had just gotten together a contribution to that Save Me From Being Called Home To The Father Fund, you know, the one he tried to fire up some years back.
I realize that I am quite a bit late, but it wasn't easy, trying to find party stores that would accept empty 40-0z. Blatz bottles from my voluminous collection.
Oh well; fuck it, then.

Several reports are saying it was "full cardiac arrest." Wonder what could've caused that?
My hand to God, she's gonna be at Carnegie Hall. But you - I'll let you have her now at the old price, OK? Which is, which is anything you wanna give me. Anything at all.

© Talk to FRANK? Is he pushing up in the Blanc? I guess you can take the boy out of Brightmoor, but you can't take the Brightmoor out of the boy.
I used to be with it, but then they changed what 'it' was. Now, what I'm with isn't 'it,' and what's 'it' seems weird and scary.
