Howard Zinn died of a heart attack yesterday.

While I do not always agree with him, his "People's History" was an amazing piece of work.

Agree on both counts.

As for J.D. Sallinger, I still have no idea why "The Catcher in the Rye" is such a big deal. All the little fucker did was bitch the whole book.
