I'm sorry, but everything about this picture is why I would not party with Willie Nelson. He strikes me as the kind of guy who would think that while sitting at the bar it's funny to fart out loud. 20 times in a row.

I know a woman who worked as a manager at the House of Blues in Chicago for a long time. She said Willie Nelson was, by far, the coolest person she ever dealt with. Very easy going.

Oh, and, surprise, Ted Nugent was the biggest prick.

Willie's XM station is one of my favorites.

Willie Nelson's reggae album was a pretty good. Unexpected "pretty good," too, which is worth bonus points in my book. Beyond that, just bits and pieces of his catalog are worth a shit (note to all: on a road trip with Frank you should bring your own music).
My hang-up is the public image of the man. The equivalent, I would guess, that Ted Nugent would represent to many here. A lot of little asshole things add up to one giant asshole that is best avoided.

Two, at least. A manager talked about Kwame coming by and he took him into his office and Kilpatrick needed two chairs.

The only other story I have is a coordinator (translation=charge) throwing his double-wide ass out of a resuscitation with "if you're not going to do surgery you need to ger out, now". I think it was the high point of his career to date. I'm only sorry to not be able to put that one in HF Witnessed.
