Thanks a lot, Mulligan. As though seeing this once a day on Woodward wasn't enough.

Sorry Doc. It had to be done. I see that phony DJ "Hey guy!" pose everywhere I drive these days. The quitters need to know what we're dealing with here. Speaking of avatars, isn't it time you changed yours to the alternate-ending "outro"?

I've looked and looked for that, but no luck. Believe me you'd be seeing a bandaged kitty giving a pathetic meow by now if I could find it.

Actually, I'm glad you haven't found the other gif. It would remind me of being sad. I took those losses in the '80s a lot harder than I do now.
I used to be with it, but then they changed what 'it' was. Now, what I'm with isn't 'it,' and what's 'it' seems weird and scary.

Whoever thought up that advertisement (and had him pose that way) should be forced to live with Reverend David Murray.

Actually, Jay should be forced to live with him too. It'd make for great radio.

That guy reminds me of Peter Brady. There's one of those billboards on the Lodge, too.

There are 2 back-to-back along EB 94 somewhere around 14 or 15 Mile. One's a regular billboard, and the other is one of those quick-change models.

I saw a new Jay Towers billboard on 75 where he's eating a bowl of cereal. Not douchey enough. I'm keeping this avatar for now.

Oh, it's Douchy, but they set the bar so high with the first one that it will be hard to unseat.

I noticed them this morning. I'll give them credit, it looks like they tried to be more douchey.

I was driving up 75 from downtown friday morning. Pretty early and pretty hung over. All of a sudden I see back to back Jay Towers billboards. And I grad my phone to call my wife (it woul dhave been about 3 in the morning) to tell her that our friend got a job at WNIC and he has two giant billboards on 75. As I am dialing, I realize that our friend was actually just Mulligan's avatar and I have no idea who Jay Towers is...

cross-post to slow gradually slip from reality thread, please.

I like this story. It's nice to know I have company on my gradual journey into dimentia.

Well, I'll see you there - although I am pretty sure I will have no idea who you are by then.

pablo_hunny's (?sp?) current one is mighty nice.......

As I type this, Creep from Radiohead's Pablo Hunny is playing on Pandora. But on my phone, the avatar for HFD's Pablo Hunny's is just a small blue box with a white question mark. Don't tell me that avatar has disappeared.

Looks like pablo_hunny's avatar has gone to the great message board in the shy. But all is not lost. Here is another Search and Rescue avatar from Pot Pie
