I think it's a security measure so that if some passenger sees one or the other leave, they won't leap up and bust down the door, but you would think they would have some sort of keypad or eyeball recognition device

I think he meant "coner" not "corner". To get rid of earaches or earwax they roll up a cone of paper, insert it into the ear and light it on fire. If nothing else, it will get rid of the ear. Or the kid it's attached to

A friend (former girlfriend, really, if that matters) is a part of the anti-vaccination crowd, but in her case there's a very sad case. At around at two her only child had a bad fever and at the hospital he was injected with something -what it was I don't recall, but the important point is that he was injected- and literally before her eyes he slid down into a state of multiple allegies and a non-verbal autism. This is a woman with a doctorate and years of professional experience in child development and psychology. Whereas laymen might confuse correlation with causality I'd expect a woman with this level of education and credentials to know better, and yet she is convinced that something awful was in that needle and thereby took down her son.
