Salt Lake City— A Utah elementary school teacher who was carrying a concealed firearm at school was struck by fragments from a bullet and a porcelain toilet when her gun accidently fired in a faculty bathroom on Thursday, officials said.

She teaches sixth grade. When I was at that level the teachers pretty much kept it to applying pressure to our shoulders, man did that fucking hurt, or picking us up by the throat. They might've had guns, but I never saw one.

It wasn't until ninth grade that witnessed a kid getting smashed on the head with a big book. Our English/homeroom teacher just walked up behind the kid, raised the book high and brought it down on top of his head. This was a textbook-sized thing, like 400 pages, and he smacked the crap out of him. I can still picture it, that and the kid stiffening and slowly turning his head to look at the teacher with this stunned look on his face. Good times.

I have seen a few violent acts against students, but I don't think anybody I know ever got bopped with a book. Erasers, lectern pieces, even a guitar, but never a book. Or a gun, for that matter. Come to think of it, do slingshots count?

Mrs. Kasel just called and said she was on her way home from work when she came across a bunch of state and county police carrying shotguns 1/2 mile up the road from the house. All they would say is that they were looking for someone believed to be in the woods which happen to connect to our property and that she should go home, lock the door, and not answer it for anyone but instead call 911. She was calling from her car in the driveway and getting ready to go inside when I pointed out that there have been no cars in the driveway all day, the house is dark, there are several loaded guns in not so clever hiding places, and we never lock the doors.

She replied that she doubted someone would enter the house with the dogs inside so I said "Fine, you go check all of the rooms, closets, and the showers and if all is clear turn on the light in the spare bedroom. If it's not on when I get home later I'll know to call the police."

She's heading back up the road to ask the cops to clear the house.

Police said they were called at 2 a.m. to the area of Ford between Wyoming and Oakman when a passing motorist discovered Rolex Dior Johnson collapsed in the street. Johnson was transported to an area hospital where he died from his injuries.

Was his younger, and less known, brother Timex Hilfiger Johnson on scene?

Yes, Timex was also injured, but you know him. He takes a licking and keeps on ticking.

The video of the 12-year-old with the air gun getting shot in Cleveland doesn't do much for the cops involved. He's shot within two seconds of the scout car pulling up to him.
My hand to God, she's gonna be at Carnegie Hall. But you - I'll let you have her now at the old price, OK? Which is, which is anything you wanna give me. Anything at all.

Ansel????

Austin, Texas — A gunman fired more than 100 rounds at downtown buildings in Austin and tried to set the Mexican Consulate ablaze early Friday before he died during a confrontation with police, authorities said.

Some of the targeted buildings are near the popular Sixth Street entertainment district, where bars close at 2 a.m., about the same time the shootings began. Thousands of people are typically on the street at that time, Austin Police Chief Art Acevedo said.
