Who was the first? Maybe we can turn this into a Sexington trivia question. My guess: HFD's own Robert Porcher.

Nope. And no one will ever get this one. It was Janel McCarville of the New York Liberty.

Though Porcher always has been a gentleman.

That's exactly what they mean by a "pattern". Different application of oil in different area of the lanes

Entirely possible, but she was exceptionally polite nonetheless.

Alright, threadjackers....enough of your discussion of homo WNBA players (not that there's anything wrong with that). Time to get this thread back on track

Openeing night last night and it is apparent that I really need to upgrade my Tuesday evening tolerance levels......

219, 177, 153

Scores reflect my level of intoxication. Still over average for the series, so that's good.

Another good night........

219, 191, 200

Pulled the 191 out of my arse by finishing with 5 in a row. Yay me.

Threw a bowling party for my eldest's 5th birthday. 12 five year olds going just about insane. THere was an unfortunate group in the lane next to us (we were lane 1-3 and the stupidly stuck somebody in lane 4). The kids were taking the wrong bowls and would just throw down whatever lane was empty. The folks next to us were pissed - but everybody at our party was having a blast.

479 last night.

192, 138, 149

Not terribly consistent, but actually pretty consistent with my scores from my substitute appearance on another team last Thursday. (488- 190, 140, 158)

I need to better deal with the oil transition. That's a fact.

Looks like the beer consistently kicks in by game 2.
I used to be with it, but then they changed what 'it' was. Now, what I'm with isn't 'it,' and what's 'it' seems weird and scary.

Au contraire, mon ami

Night started bad (pocket 7-10 first ball) before the beer had a chance to kick in, got better, then crashed and burned in the 3d game.....my teammates, not so much. We bowled the first place team and they had a chick put up a 566 against us and we still took three of four.

168, 203, 149 last night for a 520

I feel like I'm talking to myself. Sexington and hoog seemed to have abandoned this thread. Oh well cockpunchers, guess you'll just have me to brag about bowling.

Bowled last year's winners last night. They have a guy who carries a 225 average.....

187, 176, 224 for a 587 for me

Interesting thing...we lost the first game by 2. Came up second game in the 10th with a not to respectable score (partner holding me up that game) tied for the game. Just Mr. 225 and myself were left so it came down to mano-a-mano. He shot strike spare, I turkeyed out to save my game and give the team a 10 point win.

Avg. should be sitting at 190 next week. Fuckin' A, yeah, it's nice to be sitting this high. This is rarified air for me. Hopefully I can keep it up

Cross post hoog and sexington to HFD Search and Rescue....

Not to shabby last night....

214, 164, 213 for a 591 Average sitting at 187 starting last night after a couple subpar weeks in a row

Now on to why I really posted here. It's been almost a year since HFD Bowling Night I. How about a reprise soon?

I seem to be the only one who bowls anymore, but fuck it. I kicked major effing ass tonight for my first ever sanctioned 700 series. 265, 268, 230 for a 763. My best night ever by far. Not one open in the whole series. Looks like I made the right call getting my ball resurfaced :)

Fuck yeah.
