STINKPALMED!

“I will wear these underwear until we lose,” Leyland said. “I can tell you that right now. And they will not be washed. And I don’t give a shit who knows it.”

That's awesome...

This game is not over.
Is this game over?

The Tigers completely shit the bed on the national stage and they should be embarrassed. And fuck you Raburn, I hope you take a page out of Donnie Moore's book.

I hope I get a refund on my unused tickets soon. Like, Monday morning soon.
Hmmmm....maybe I should be a large map of metro Detroit for on my wall, so I better know the relationship of my city and the suburbs. - Supersport

I'm not going to sit here and bitch about everything or go over the details of a game that you all saw just as well as I saw it.

I've not dogged Jim Leyland, lately, but I am annoyed tonight. Scherzer didn't have it, tonight-- it's OK, it happens to the best of 'em-- and I was completely in agreement with Leyland taking him out when he did, but then Leyland ran through Schlereth & Porcello all too quickly, which left us with the likes of Ryan Perry & Brad Penny. (We'd have had a better shot with Tom Petty.)
The part that really frosts my ass is that the game was not totally, 100% out of reach when Penny (who has no talent or ability left, none whatsoever, so Good Luck with that Free Agency, Brad) began to further fuck it up, and yet Leyland left him out there. The remaining pickin's were slim, but that's no excuse, and by the time the enthusiastically contrary Leyland got the fuck out there to lift Penny-- and it would have made more sense to not have picked him up in the first place, HAR!!-- the contest, and with it the season, was entirely shot to hell, kaput, destroyed.

I think it was a huge mistake to catch Avila over 140 games this year.

Other than that, I got nothing.

They were 7-2 that stretch, including a couple rain outs with make up games.

gullycanyon wrote:Roque, you focus on the wrong shit... Look at Inge & Adam Dunn. Both strike out a lot, but Dunn does it on the way to piling up big-time power numbers, numbers that make his K's an acceptable part of the over-all performance. Of course, all of you know that Inge is My Boy, but the same cannot be said for him.

You were right about Dunn last year. He put up some big time numbers alright.
