If only one of our new downtown hotels had a Gerald Ford Presidential Suite.

I think there is one at the Campus Inn in Ann Arbor.

At my fantasy draft this week, I noticed Brian Moehler's name on the cheat sheet.
I used to be with it, but then they changed what 'it' was. Now, what I'm with isn't 'it,' and what's 'it' seems weird and scary.

By using the El Dorado Atmospheric and Oceanic temperatures thermal map. I caculated the contrary direction where the polar jet stream is going and it didn't look pretty.

Moehler is at least 4 years younger than me. Stairs is a week older and Vizquel is almost a year older. Makes me wish I hadn't turned down that offer from the Mariners instead of going to grad school. I'd still be playing.

Quitter.

I guess if you make enough bank, twelve years seems like a good run (i.e. Rafalski, Palffy,....).

History may repeat itself again, as Oklahoma State is recruiting Barry Sanders, Jr. The 5'9", 180-pound RB is a bit reminiscent of his father, due his elite quickness, vision, open field creativity, instincts and speed.

Kerry Collins retired after 16 seasons in the league but came back when Indy signed him this morning. It doesn't seem like that long ago that I was at Michigan Stadium watching him and Ki-Jana Carter playing against Todd Collins and Tyrone Wheatley ... in 1994.
My hand to God, she's gonna be at Carnegie Hall. But you - I'll let you have her now at the old price, OK? Which is, which is anything you wanna give me. Anything at all.

Hard to believe after Todd Collins' stellar play with the Bear's last year that somebody hasn't picked him up.

In honor of the Tigers (probably) clinching their division for the first time since 1987, please settle in and enjoy this three part series of videos.

Today, the Lions are scheduled to leave for New Orleans, where they'll play the Saints on Saturday night at the Superdome in an NFC wild-card game. It will be the team's first playoff appearance in a dozen years -- yes, since Ross and his '99ers, six coaches ago.

Led by quarterback Matthew Stafford, they'll try to do what no Lions team has done since 1991: win a playoff game.

The Lions couldn't do it Jan. 8, 2000. They were dominated by the Redskins, 27-13. It was a game in which little went right.

"Washington was really pressuring us, and we weren't handling it well," Ross, 75, said from his home this week in Richmond, Va. "That to me was the story of the game. We weren't doing anything offensively, and we gave up a big play at the start of the game."

Holy cow did Bobby Ross get old.

Michigan stopped recruiting this dipshit (and his Catholic high school gave him the boot). His now-closed Twitter account seemed to have something to do with it:

He'll fit in with the Bengals, I guess.
