Ohio U. is the favorite to win the MAC this season. I think I'll add the Bobcats to my peripheral list of college teams to root for this fall.

I distinctly remember watching the 1989 championship game in a beach house on Kiawah Island, S.C., with the rest of the Avenger clan during our spring break. I was about six weeks from my high school graduation.
That was more than half my life ago ... wow.
