He's gone.

On a happier note, Reggie Bush ended up passing the 1,000-yards plateau. That's the first 1,000-yard rusher since Kevin Smith, I believe.
My hand to God, she's gonna be at Carnegie Hall. But you - I'll let you have her now at the old price, OK? Which is, which is anything you wanna give me. Anything at all.

Is that the word on the street or just what you're thinking?
By using the El Dorado Atmospheric and Oceanic temperatures thermal map. I caculated the contrary direction where the polar jet stream is going and it didn't look pretty.

It's been the word on the street since they lost to the Ravens. Reports today said Bill Ford Jr., not his father, is the sole decision maker on the matter. I can't see any way he does anything but fire Schwartz and the coaching staff tomorrow.

My gut feeling is Mayhew will stay, but I wouldn't be shocked if they fire him, too.

Yeah, it's slightly uplifting to read/hear that Jr. is making the decision on this.

We shall see.

Word is Schwartz is pow-wowing with the bosses right now. There's no press conference today (the league doesn't require one if your season is over), but we'll have access to the players at around 12:30. I would think we'll know the coach's fate before we get to talk to the players.

97.1 reporting he's gone. Is it true?

Yup. Mayhew and Lewand will talk to the media later today.

I hope we don't hire O'Brien. I don't think I can take looking into that black hole he calls a chin for the next few years.
Hmmmm....maybe I should be a large map of metro Detroit for on my wall, so I better know the relationship of my city and the suburbs. - Supersport

“Shocked and sad” was how Burleson described the players. He said they walked into the room Monday thinking it was just the routine end-of-season meeting and Schwartz informed them he had been fired.

From The Detroit News: http://www.detroitnews.com/article/2013 ... z2p3MNDdET

Everything Nate Burleson says seems like BS.

How on earth could anyone be shocked that the head coach was fired after two seasons like that?
