Gibson - '84 Tigers, '88 Dodgers
Girardi - '96, '98, '99 Yankees
Scioscia - '81 and '88 Dodgers

Three more to go. One was a pitcher, the other two were position players.

Did Mattingly hang on long enough for the Yankees rebirth?
I used to be with it, but then they changed what 'it' was. Now, what I'm with isn't 'it,' and what's 'it' seems weird and scary.

I don't believe so.
By using the El Dorado Atmospheric and Oceanic temperatures thermal map. I caculated the contrary direction where the polar jet stream is going and it didn't look pretty.

No, Mattingly retired before the Bombers rose again.

We've got five now, one to go:

Gibson - '84 Tigers, '88 Dodgers
Girardi - '96, '98, '99 Yankees
Scioscia - '81 and '88 Dodgers
Johnson - '66 and '70 Orioles
Baker - '81 Dodgers

Nope.

It's not exactly easy, so here you go:
Padres manager Bud Black was on the 1985 Royals' staff.

From a story in the Freep today, Torii Hunter is three away from becoming the 13th active player with 2,000 hits. Name the 12 ahead of him.
