Under The Dome has been pretty good so far this season. Last season was a bit blah but still entertaining. It's the only thing I watch on CBS aside from the Lions playing an AFC team. The television program has divested itself entirely from the storyline of the book.
By using the El Dorado Atmospheric and Oceanic temperatures thermal map. I caculated the contrary direction where the polar jet stream is going and it didn't look pretty.

I know I'm late to the party, but Orange Is The New Black is some good stuff. Also love all the access to stand-up specials.

I'm addicted to British detective shows and Netflix is feeding my jones with 17 seasons of "Midsomer Murders" and they just added Season One of "Inspector Morse". Now I need "A Touch of Frost" and my viewing life will be complete.
I mentioned it before, but for viewing Netflix on a non-smart TV, I use the Chromecast doo-hickey that plugs into the TV's HDMI output and runs from my PC or phone and I love it.

You should try Whitechapel

Are you telling me to drop dead or is that a website for British TV?

Thanks; I'll look for that one.
They also featured two more of my favorites on that page: Wire in the Blood and Wallander. Both stellar shows with great acting.

Someone alert Woodward's Friend -- just saw a commercial for a new series on IFC:

Garfunkel & Oates

I used to be with it, but then they changed what 'it' was. Now, what I'm with isn't 'it,' and what's 'it' seems weird and scary.

Reminds me of the newish program, "Broad City" on Comedy Central. Good stuff. I think I've post this chick to odd crushes...

She played Rajesh' love interest on Big Bang Theory for a season. Funny girl.

I've always been a sucker for Maggie Gyllenhaal. She has a new show called The Honourable Woman on the Sundance Channel, which will no doubt make me wish I owned a TV.

X-post to TV hot chicks, which is where I meant to post this.

If you've read David McCullough's book about Theodore Roosevelt and/or Doris Kearns Goodwin's book about FDR and Eleanor, there's really not much new in Ken Burns' documentary about them.
All the same, it's so well done I really don't mind.
My hand to God, she's gonna be at Carnegie Hall. But you - I'll let you have her now at the old price, OK? Which is, which is anything you wanna give me. Anything at all.

Yeah, there's not a lot of info I didn't already know about any of them. I will admit to never knowing that FDR used to commandeer a US destroyer to drop him off at his summer home in Campobello. And they seem to be hinting around at Eleanor's rumored lesbian relationships but not really coming out and saying if it is true or not.

I nominate Creed Bratton as best minor character of all time.

Barry Zuckerkorn is a close second. He's very good.

I'm late to the party on Bob's Burgers but I'm catching up now on NetFlix. That's a funny show.
