I'd never heard of Trapeze, but yesterday there they were on The Boneyard. Sounds like Humble Pie with guts. Now my regret is that since the record stores have all closed I have nowhere to go to rifle through bins looking for the album and no old rock dogs with whom to compare notes.
Trapeze is a Glenn Hughes band, one of the replacement Deep Purple members.
Try SOLO records on Woodward N of Webster in RO. Overstock.com has 3 different albums in stock.
Dude, you're hired.
Record "swap meets/shows" are a good place, too. I would imagine they have them around your locale, as they have them in Chicago all the time.
There was a little place up this way, now gone, that was great. I believe that the building had been a carry-out pizza place converted into a record store or, more accurately, a CD store. New CDs mixed in with the used, and just the kind of place to go and piss away 30 minutes or an hour on a slow Saturday afternoon. An awesome place just to go and browse and to talk rock. So many "found" tunes and artists discovered there, either in the bins, on the sound-system, or recommended by the quirky guys who manned the counter. John Cale, Robert Randolph and others were found in places like that. As the business was collapsing the owner once remarked to me that he could compete on price, but he couldn't beat "free" and so tunes ripped from the internet killed another one.
For melListening to little clips on interwebs doesn't have the same attraction as a means of encountering the new & interesting.
Probably one of the best record stores in the state back in the 80s will reopen in November.

Is there still a record store in Kerchival on the Hill? Friend of mine used to work there/manage it a number of years ago.
Not as far as I know. I don't get much past the library now that Something Special and Lucy's closed ages ago.
