Just a note: Univ Prep Academy Schools made the "top" of the list of those schools. When I was at HWoods HS a few years back, there were at least 5 kids who had been expelled from U Prep now going to HWHS. Needless to say, they were far from the brightest and the best, which IMO explains how some charter schools fudge the numbers of success. Get rid of low hanging fruit and pawn it off on the public schools who can't legally expel kids unless it's for violence. These kids were kicked out just because they were discipline problems and needed special services that the charter schools don't have to provide.
