So now he's a different kind of pitchman?

Just a note: Univ Prep Academy Schools made the "top" of the list of those schools. When I was at HWoods HS a few years back, there were at least 5 kids who had been expelled from U Prep now going to HWHS. Needless to say, they were far from the brightest and the best, which IMO explains how some charter schools fudge the numbers of success. Get rid of low hanging fruit and pawn it off on the public schools who can't legally expel kids unless it's for violence. These kids were kicked out just because they were discipline problems and needed special services that the charter schools don't have to provide.

So they submarine you? Typical Quisenberry.
I used to be with it, but then they changed what 'it' was. Now, what I'm with isn't 'it,' and what's 'it' seems weird and scary.

I was trying to find the SI article Quiz wrote back in the 80s ranking the bullpens of stadiums. It was awesome.

•Tiger Stadium, Detroit
The absolute worst. You're in a little box on the side of the field. It's heavily wired to keep the fans from getting at you, and on a hot day, it's murder. I now know what life is like on a submarine. When you're in there, all you want to do is get outside and breathe the air. We had a bench-clearing brawl there one day, and with all of us trying to get out of the submarine at once, it looked like a combination of the Keystone Kops and Das Boot. Tiger Stadium also has the worst fans in either league. I don't care if I never get back.

I thought they always kept the fences up in the CF upper deck bleachers separating the rubes in the cheap seats from everyone else? That being said, the bullpens in the old park always did look uncomfortable
Where the hell am I going? And what the hell am I doing in this handbasket?

He's made some incredible albums, Berlin and New York are two that come readily to mind, Transformer of course, and I've bought at least one of his CDs which was completely unlistenable. I've heard he's something of a prick. Cross to People I Have No Interest in Meeting.

Hmmmm, that might be one of disks that I found unlistenable. Mebbe I need to give it another spin. Oh, and add Rock & Roll Animal to the HFD LPs I'd Want on a Desert Island.

I remember him from when he was with Velvet Underground. Take a Walk on the Wild Side is one of my favorite songs
