Playing with the GD last night (hereafter known as the B-Durl. The MT tagged her with that one....supposed to be big girl but it comes out B-Durl.....and it has taken. We call her B-Durl more than we call her by her name). She had pigtails the whole day so when Mrs. D-Day took them out her hair was all over the place, so I started singing Punk Rock Girl to her and she was dancing and laughing in her playpen. We had a blast.....and you guessed it. Now the song has taken up residence in my head

You're welcome.....

It's not as easy as it used to be finding time to let my mind wander.

There's quite a few parodies floating around of this, too.

My favorite is this one.

The mom in this one is intriguing.

Every time I find myself watching an episode of M*A*S*H they play this tune and it's stuck in my head for days.

Just another run of the mill suburban white devil, with an "Assault" weapon. Molon Labe.

Every tune from "The Nightmare Before Christmas" was ours for years. Our little guy loved that show, and I have no doubt that by now I've seen it more than 50 times. Even today after a few pops I can belt out a pretty good "This is Halloween."

Lil Fudge has seen Frozen 5 times, has the soundtrack and now has the movie. The girl lets it go regularly and the boy is into Olaf's song.

Well, it's called In Summer not Olaf's song. I thought I had missed an integral part of the movie

The elementary school talent show featured no less than 9 acts doing various Frozen songs, out of 60-something total. Factiod: only two piano players in the whole 3+ hour (!) show. It was pretty brutal overall.

Had another elementary school thing recently that featured the kids singing Broadway show tunes. There were some big solo talents in that one. A couple of them come over to play on occasion. It's kind of fun seeing the girls play with their dolls while they unselfconsciously sing "I'm going to wash that man right out of my hair."
