Does he drag a generator around? And how did he lean out the windows far enough to spray back on the building? And, finally, how does nobody notice this guy when he's at work?

I've wondered the same thing. That is one hell of an effort to vandalize.

There's no set date to demo/blow them up is there? If anyone knows, let me know on here so I can record it. I almost missed the Charlevoix coming down from not paying attention.

Dunno. I'm just predicting that that's what they're up to. I was looking for an address, actually an intersection, which put me in the middle of it. There was actually a lot of traffic in there. All sorts of trucks and vans coming and going.

I know some of the graffiti assholes use fire extinguishers. From what I've seen, it's too precise to be an extinguisher.

This place was shuttered about 2 weeks before the vultures came. It was one of my favorite buildings on the east side. Pretty much a dump, now.

The "it happens everywhere" crowd can fuck off. The scale of this type of shit is astronomical here compared to other cities just because we have triple the abandoned buildings.

What school was that before it was the "Temporary" Finney?

McNair (Andrew Jackson) Middle School. Built in the early 20s. Very ornate.

I think that could work. It's refillable, rechargeable, and it wouldn't too difficult to modify the nozzle. I understand that the spray can people carry a selection of nozzles for different effects. Same idea.

I was on the Lodge this evening and took a better look at those towers. I think it's only one that got hit in the Morris Lewis style, and the facade is not flat as I had thought but the floor plan is in a cross shape. Simple enough to aim out a window from the adjoining arm of the cross. It probably took more effort to do the white pattern.

IMO, this was all done with rollers on pogos (extendable pole). You can get them as long as 20'.
Just another run of the mill suburban white devil, with an "Assault" weapon. Molon Labe.

Cross Post to Crappy Journalism: WDET reported on this story this morning, they labeled the projects as being "90 years old" The towers were built in the early 1950s. I am sure something was there 90 years ago, but that was before the era of urban removal.

I think they're referring to the entire projects, not just the towers.
The Brewster Project began construction in 1935, when First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt broke ground for the 701-unit development;
