Are they building temporary jails in anticipation of the ones being shut by the state?

But will they secure the plywood with steel bars like the CPA building?

Police are trying to figure out who broke into the Detroit Beer Co. overnight.

Someone smashed the front window of the building at 1529 Broadway St. with a brick sometime late Friday night or early Saturday morning, authorities said.

Police told Local 4 an empty cash drawer was stolen.

Investigators are looking at surveillance video to try and identify the robber.

Kudos for going against the plywood grain and upgrading to plexiglass.

The last post on this thread was actually a year ago?? Detroit rises!

The blue building next to Vicente's received plywood treatment last week. Interesting how they built the plywood frame about a foot off the actual facade. Reminds me of weatherproofing for a hurricane.

I've done that before, but usually to rebuild the facade. Who knows what's going on here though. I do spy a plywood door in the middle, secured with all of a padlock. Good luck there. I prefer to use something akin to this.
