Start a petition!

And include a Panera in the fine print.
My Goodness! What's going on? What's happening?

Why light the streets when no one's allowed to park their car there?

Lights on Alter from 94 south to Warren have been out for weeks. Sorta creepy.

I've become fascinated with it, creepy is the word for sure. There's a stretch of 94 downtown that's gone unlit for a while, it gives off such a lawless vibe to me.

If only we could petition Panera to install and maintain lights. Then we'd really be cookin with gas.

I Twittered with Ken Cockrel Jr. and he got to the bottom of it. True story.

Park Ave is patchy, lights in Grand Circus Park are out around the edge and ever since the Tigers season ended the lights in the Tuller Hotel lot have been dark.

I know most of you don't remember the recession of the mid '70's when there was a mass migration to Texas. The saying back then was "Last one to leave (Michigan), turn out the lights"
Apparently, they forgot to turn them back on.

Maybe the Morouns will fix those if the bridge doesn't go through.

Someone will have to pay for those street lights and it's gonna be our children.

I say we amend the city charter so we can vote on which lights get fixed.

Why should we let the politicians decide the things we elected them to make decisions about? It's our money.

I want my portion to go to that street light on the corner of Park and Grand Circus. Not on any other one.

Miles of streetlights have been out on Grand River for weeks, from downtown to around Grand Blvd.

Good luck if you get a flat tire in the middle of the night. Just leave the car and run.

By the way, I called the lighting department just now to report it. They didn't seem to have an idea they were out.

Wow.
