Not too far from the Catholic store. That park had the best playground equipment (with exception of the monkey bars). It even had one of those cool covered slides. There was a mural on the side of the building adjoining the lot. Funny, I can't remember the name.
Wasn't the Catholic store McCauley's or something. I remember going there for a 1st Communion rosary and a Confirmation Missal covered in pure white vinyl. So saintly.
But I don't remember a park. We hung mostly at Heilmann or St. Jude playfield.
Bought my stuff there, too. My brother hung out at Heilmann. My fave was the park on Seven Mile. There was another park East of Gratiot but North of McNichols (I think) that was also pretty good.
