There were letters distributed to us from the production company, one more day of blow 'em up scenes because they're behind schedule.

From the dates on the letter, it appears they will be here through the end of the month. Not sure if that includes just the filming or the clean up afterwards.

I noticed this fire truck hanging out for a bit. They left on what I assume was a call after a while.

I have no idea what fire company that is. Engine 57, which is located on Burt Rd in Brightmoor, is browned out every day, so I know it is not Engine 57. Their firehouse, like several other daily browned out companies (e.g. Ladder 28 at Linwood & Calvert, Ladder 19 at French & Shoemaker) has been "visited" by scrappers. Maybe this is Engine 1 (located across from the Towne Pump) with an "X-rig."

Because our fleet is in such dire shape and so many companies have either been permanently closed (15 last year) or browned out every day (usually 7 to 10), rigs are swapped around the city as others break down. So you get to a scene nowadays and don't know who else is there by looking at the numbers (or lack of numbers in many cases) on the rigs. It's never a good sign for your browned-out company's future when they start lending your rig out.
Overall, the contract seems to have been written by amateurs.

All that bok choy on the ground, there must have been an obligatory vegetable-stand collision.
My Goodness! What's going on? What's happening?

Haven't seen the sidewalk in front of the UA Building that clean in years. Of course, that sidewalk has been closed and fenced in for years too.

Goodbye Shanghai Chic. You were hot.

^Looks like they're packing up and returning the block back to it's natural- mostly abandoned- state. All that work for what will probably be a forty-five second scene in the movie....

Fence posts going back up to close the sidewalk. You never know if something could just fall off the UA Building.
