Only 69 days till the parasite is scheduled to make her entrance. Meliss is hoping for a trouble free eviction process.

First baby for Mrs. She's healthy, young, on the wagon and not smoking? If yes all around then I'll bet that she goes to at least 75 days.

Those extra six days will be filled with joy.

And I'd say stock up on the joy.

I'll offer one last piece of hard-learned knowledge: keep feeding the baby. Something like 100% of the bitching and crying in the first weeks is driven by hunger. They'll drink every 45 minutes - this is why wise men start early to sell-in the health advantages of breast feeding.

Ms. Michigan was induced three times. It was fantastic. We had a scheduled appointment at the hospital. She got an epidural early because of the strength of the pitosen induced contractions. I brought the papers for us to read, and we watched daytime tv all morning into the afternoon.

I even got to make a few trips down to the Au Bon Pain to get a cups of coffee or a soup. AAhhhh, the salad days. But once those kids got home all hell broke loose. Man, talk about stress and exhaustion. Regular Bataan death march.

The parasite is trying to escape now and is considered very, very active for her "age". Right now, they are predicting on-time.

She won't have her own single cab... she'll have the single cab. First born kid gets it.

Now can we figure out who the daddy is?

Didn't we used to have a name-the-critter thread?

How about Farley Drexel Toolbox, after one of my favorite children's literature characters?

I know a girl named Ella whose nickname is Otto. Why can't we name a girl Fudge, or Farley and nickname her Taniqua?
